Due to recent restrictions from EMS (European Merchant Services) we are no longer allowed to sell Salvia divinorum through our website Maya Ethnobotanicals.
EMS has been summoned by the international creditcard companies to inform all creditcard accepting ethnobotanical plant providers, that they strictly do not want any association with websites selling this plant.
Because the plant is illegal in some states in the United States, it gives them the right to restrict all ethnobotanical providers worldwide.
The restrictions are mandatory and would result in high fines if we would continue to accept creditcards as payment for this plant.
Therefore from now on Salvia divinorum is available only from this website: www.spike.nu
This website doesn't offer creditcard payments, so we can legally continue selling Salvia divinorum from here.
You can access the Salvia divinorum product page by clicking here:
We are in the process in adding all other plants that Maya Ethnobotanicals offers to this website, but this is a time consuming project that can take a few days.
You can login to www.spike.nu with your customer account login details from Maya Ethnobotanicals.
Please note that it is technically not possible to edit and save your account details on www.spike.nu.
If you need to make any changes to your address details, you will have to do this through your Maya account, before ordering from Spike
Payments can not be done through credit cards. But we do accept cash payments, bank transfer and Paypal.
Due to logistical and technical limitations it is not possible to combine orders from Maya and Spike, unless both orders are paid with the same payment method, and placed and confirmed and paid for on the same day.
We regret this situation very much. It is a global restriction and within a short time all websites selling Salvia divinorum will be restricted similarly.
We are pleased to have found a solution for it, however being it slightly complicated for our customers.
